The Brueggen Dental Implant Center: Addressing Dental Implants Cost
Your smile is one of your most important physical attributes, which is why we here at the Brueggen Dental Implant Center do what it takes to provide you with the best in tooth replacement solutions. We also understand that for many patients, dental implants cost perhaps a little or a whole lot more than they are comfortably able to pay. However, it is our philosophy that you should never avoid receiving treatment for single or multiple missing teeth simply because you feel that you cannot cover your dental implants cost. For this reason, we offer flexible financing options for all our patients.
Dental Implants Cost: When Teeth Go Missing
Teeth can require replacement for a myriad of reasons. According to statistics published by the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a staggering 30% of all adults in the United States reach the age of 65 without a single original tooth left! With periodontal (gum) disease being such a pervasive problem, these statistics hardly come as a surprise. But there are many other factors that can cause you to lose one or more teeth: accidental trauma, chronic illness, certain medications, tobacco use, a failed root canal, tooth decay and even your genetic heritage can all lead to tooth loss. Dental implants offer a long term solution that is both aesthetic and functional in nature. They also promote the excellent health of the underlying jaw bone, which is one of the reasons why we here at the Brueggen Dental Implant Center recommend them over and above traditional tooth replacement solutions, such as removable partial or full dentures and dental bridges. So how much do dental implants cost and what can our patients expect?
Dental Implants Cost: Assessing your Options
The dental implants cost depends substantially upon how many of your teeth require replacement. Your current state of jaw bone health and the possible need for bone grafting surgery beforehand is also an important concern. While Dr. Brueggen takes all possible measures to avoid this procedure, in some cases it is unavoidable and will become an additional expense. Generally however, dental implants cost the following:
- Initial visit (includes X-rays, consultation and treatment plan) ~ $250
- Single dental implants cost ~ $4,000 to $6,000 (including abutment and crown)
- Three dental implants cost ~ $2,000 to $15,000 (including abutments and crowns)
- Full upper or lower arch restoration ~ $27,500 to $35,000 ( with non-removable teeth )
- Both dental arches ~ $50,000 (with non-removable teeth)
- Dentures attached to mini dental implants cost (immediate function) ~ $4,000 to $8,000 per arch
- Dentures attached to endosseous root form implants (traditional implants) ~ $9,000 to &15,000 per arch
All dental implants cost estimates include the need for any tooth extractions, the placement of the implants, tooth restoration and all follow-up appointments.
